Intuitive Collection

The Intuitive collection consists of works painted organically, without any planning or preparation and limited (if any) reference. These paintings begin with simple marks of the brush, with complexity added a layer at a time. Often an image will suggest itself: a face, a sea snail, a running horse. Other times I'll complete the painting without any representational elements, as a pure abstraction.
